ABOUT
Sanya Dutta is a London-based multiracial Actor-Model from India, with a background spanning fashion, film, television and commercial productions across the UK and India. Having trained in theatre, street plays, mime, improv, martial-arts, she has worked across a wide performance range - from psychologically intense characters and emotionally grounded drama to comedy, and editorial storytelling.
Alongside, she has built a career across several creative industries. A graduate from London College of Fashion (UAL) in MA in Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation and BA Fashion Design from NIFT (India), gave her experience not only in front of the camera but also across production, styling, branding and creative development. Working with multidisciplinary teams embedded an understanding of projects beyond her own role collaborating with the wider creative vision.
Screen work includes lead roles in 'Melissa's Dilemma' and 'Simple Adawan', alongside independent films, music videos and commercial campaigns. She is currently filming a BBC drama and a major Hollywood film, having recently completed Netflix originals, Bollywood and Punjabi films. In her career, she's worked alongside established public figures including Scarlett Johanson, Robert Pattinson, Charles Dance, Raveena Tandon, Bobby Deol, Ahaan Panday, Sharvari and Abhishek Sharma.
Commercial works include Titan, Amul India, VLCC India, L'Occitane, OPV Beauty, Love Luxury and A Jewels to name a few, while appearing at Lakmé Fashion Week 2024. In London Fashion Week 2025, she presented a socially-driven collection becoming the only international student designer selected to showcase that season which was featured across several UK media publications.
Beyond screen, her practice is informed by experience across multiple art forms, including dance, poetry, and martial arts, as well as involvement in social causes and animal welfare initiatives - elements that naturally inform her approach to performance and visual storytelling. Being a Miss India TGPC 2025 Finalist and Miss India 2024 Regional Finalist, strengthens her impactful performance for both live audiences and the camera.
